Accelerated Ageing of Rubber

Ozone Characteristics of Polymers

Multi cell Ageing Oven in which individual samples are aged in separate cells preventing any contamination from adjacent samples through the migration volatile products which can be found in many rubber compounds. The test will be conducted as per ASTM D 573 and ISO 188 and the procedure lay out by the customers. In this method of ageing exposes a test sample to elevated air temperature, allowing its physical properties such as tensile strength, hardness to be measured and compared with those of an unaged sample.

Rubber samples has to retain all its physical properties for it has to used in certain application and environment even after ageing the sample at desired temperature and time. Our engineers are capable of analyzing the rubber compound for its failure to retain the strength and to formulate new compounds based on customer requirements.
