Tensile Properties

Universal Testing Machine is used for measuring the tensile strength of polymer samples. We have load cell of different capacity like 75kg, 500kg and 5 Ton. We have die cutter for preparing dumbbell shaped specimens as per standards. The test will be conducted as per ASTM D 638 and ISO 527 and the procedure lay out by the customers. It measures the force required to break a polymer sample specimen and the extent to which the specimen stretches or elongates to that breaking point. Tensile tests produce stress-strain diagrams, used to determine tensile modulus. The resulting tensile test data can help specify optimal materials, design parts to withstand application forces, and provide key quality control checks for materials.
