Thermal analysis of polymers:


Cure Characteristics of Rubber

DSC is effective tool for thermal characterization of polymers. We have computerized heat flux type DSC; model DSC -60A, which do not require any reference material. We also have provision to determine the glass transition under inert atmosphere.


Thermal analysis by DSC:

  • Glass transition temperature
  • Crystallization temperature
  • Degradation of polymers
  • Contamination analysis
  • Oxidative Stability

We analyze compatibility of blend of polymers, glass transition of blends using this technique. We quantify the amount of polymer blends by analyzing their glass transition.
