Tear Properties

Compression Properties

Universal Testing Machine is used for measuring the tensile strength of polymer samples. The test will be conducted as per ASTM D 624 and ISO 34 and the procedure lay out by the customers. The force required to tear a specified test specimen divided by the specimen thickness. This test provides a measure of resistance to tearing. Tear strength may also be used to illustrate the anisotropy of a material. Testing is performed by pulling specimens apart using a tensile test machine. The maximum force required to tear a test specimen is used to calculate the tear strength.

Tear Properties Like:

  • Tear Strength - Angular Type Specimen
  • Tear Strength - Crescent Type Specimen
  • Elongation Percentage
  • Modulus

We have well qualified engineers to design and formulate your rubber compounds to meet you specific needs in properties like Tensile, Tear, Flexural and Compression. We will be able to rectify the failure in your rubber compounds in these properties to meet the requirements for specific use of your compound.
